OBITUARY

Charles C. Price

Charles C. Price, 81 of Beallsville, PA died Monday December 7, 2009 in the Donnell House, Washington after a lengthy illness. He was born July 7, 1928 in Van Voorhis, PA a son of the late William H. and Garnet Young Price. Mr. Price was a 1946 graduate of Bentleyville High School. He was an Honorably Discharged U.S.Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member and Past Commander of the Bentleyville American Legion Post 165. In 1991, Mr. Price retired from the Beth-Energy Mines after 44 years of service. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America Local 1197. Mr. Price was a member of the Beallsville United Methodist Church, Beallsville F&AM Lodge 237, Uniontown Lodge of Perfection and the Consistory of Pittsburgh. He enjoyed gardening and yard work at his home. On December 17, 1966 he married Elizabeth Popovich who survives. They celebrated 42 years of marriage. Surviving in addition to his loving wife are two beloved sons – Mark D. Yablonski (Kim) of Mt Lebanon, PA and Joseph M. Yablonski (Kate) of Washington, PA; Beloved grandson – Everett A. Yablonski of Mt Lebanon, PA; Several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his parents is a son – Eric C. Price who died June 29, 1993 and two brothers – William and John Y. Price.

All services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Beallsville is in charge of arrangements.
